1. Definitions
a. "Event" means the Afrika Declaration Indaba
(ADI) organized by State Fifty Five Afrika Limited (State55).
b. "Organizer" means State55, its employees,
agents, and affiliates.
c. "Attendee" means the individual registering for
ADI.
d. "Registration" means the process of signing up
for ADI.
2. Registration
a. By registering for ADI, the Attendee agrees to
be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
b. The Attendee warrants that the information
provided during Registration is accurate and complete.
c. State55 reserves the right to refuse or cancel
any Registration.
3. Payment
a. Payment for ADI is due upon Registration.
b. The Attendee is responsible for any bank or
payment processing fees.
c. Refunds will be made in accordance with
State55's refund policy.
4. Cancellation
a. State55 reserves the right to cancel ADI due to
unforeseen circumstances.
b. In the event of cancellation, State55 will
refund the Attendee's payment in full.
5. Changes to the Event
a. State55 reserves the right to make changes to
the ADI program, schedule, or speakers.
b. The Attendee will be notified of any changes via
email or the ADI website.
6. Intellectual Property
a. The Attendee acknowledges that ADI content,
materials, and presentations are the intellectual property of
State55 and its speakers.
b. The Attendee agrees not to reproduce,
distribute, or display any ADI content without State55's prior
written consent.
7. Photography and Recording
a. State55 reserves the right to photograph and
record the Event.
b. By attending ADI, the Attendee consents to being
photographed and recorded.
8. Liability
a. State55 will not be liable for any damages,
losses, or expenses arising from the Attendee's participation in the
ADI.
b. The Attendee agrees to hold harmless State55,
its employees, agents, and affiliates.
9. Governing Law
a. These Terms and Conditions will be governed by
and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Zambia.
b. Any disputes will first be resolved through
arbitration and, if necessary, under the Courts of Law in Zambia.
10. Changes to Terms and Conditions
a. State55 reserves the right to modify these Terms
and Conditions at any time.
b. The Attendee agrees to be bound by any changes.
11. Refund Policy
All refund requests must be made in writing to +260771033924 or
email TBA.
a. Cancellation by Attendee
i. 75% refund if cancellation is received more than
30 days prior to ADI.
ii. 50% refund if cancellation is received between
15-30 days prior to ADI.
iii. No refund if cancellation is received less
than 15 days prior to ADI.
b. Cancellation by Organizer
A full refund will be issued to attendees.
c. Substitution Policy
Attendees may substitute another person at no additional cost,
provided the organizer is notified in writing at least 24 hours
prior to the event.
d. Refund Processing
Refunds will be processed within 30 days of receipt of the
cancellation request.
e. Exceptions
No refunds will be issued for travel or accommodation costs incurred
by attendees.
By registering for ADI, the Attendee acknowledges that they have
read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and
Conditions.
